Valar Atomics is seeking a turbomachinery structures engineer to join the turbomachinery team and advance power generation capability. You’ll analyze rotating components for structural margin and life, and work with cross-functional partners to define a manufacturable, high-efficiency design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering is required.
• Minimum 3 years of structural analysis experience on rotating components.
• Proficiency with ANSYS, Nastran or Abaqus for thermal/structural analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze turbomachinery components for structural margin and life.
• Quantify deflection and growth of turbomachinery in operation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define required clearances.
