Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, minimal manufacturing experience, forklift certification, and strong safety awareness.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months in a manufacturing process or equivalent.
• Must meet physical demands listed.
• 10-hour shift rotation; schedule released two weeks in advance.
• Detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication.
• Must pass safety training (lockout tagout, hazard comm, ISO).
• Forklift certification required to operate powered forklift trucks.

Responsibilities

• Tends machines performing functions such as injection molding, assembly, packing, labeling, or wrapping.
• Performs quality inspections to ensure product quality specs.
• Performs product changeovers and configures the production line; starts machine and observes operation.
• Stops machine and reports malfunctions to supervision.
• Makes routine machine adjustments or repairs and handles packing tasks.
• Cross-trained in multiple areas for lean operation and flexibility.
• Handles raw materials and finished goods; uses SAP for inventory/docs; transports between areas.
• Feeds products to conveyors; prepares materials for production lines and unloads packaged product.
• Maintains packaging supplies and performs inventory-related tasks.
• Maintains production records and machine check sheets.
• Keeps machine area clean and follows lockout procedures.
