Job summary

Avera St Benedict Nursing Home is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to join a multidisciplinary team delivering compassionate resident care across day, evening, night shifts. You will provide hands-on nursing support and collaborate with physicians, families, and other care professionals to ensure high-quality resident outcomes.

Responsibilities include reviewing physician orders, communicating the care plan, coordinating with the health care team, and developing nursing care plans.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Active RN certification from the Board of Nursing.
• 1–3 years of experience in clinical or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides resident care by reviewing physician prescriptions and communicating the nursing care plan.
• Develops nursing care plans by assessing residents and documenting care objectives and interventions.
• Coordinates admissions, discharges and transfers; directs workflow of nursing staff and maintains competence in nursing capabilities.
