Job summary

The RN will deliver nursing care, develop care plans, educate patients and families, and participate in evaluating and documenting patient progress within a supportive hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) – Board of Nursing with an active license in the state of practice.
• 1–3 years experience in a clinical environment preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care by reviewing physician prescriptions and communicating the plan to the health care team.
• Develops nursing care plans by assessing medical history and conditions and coordinating with families and team.
• Teaches patients and families about condition, medications and self-care.
• Evaluates care by adhering to standards and updating plans as conditions change.
• Maintains safe patient care environment and compliant procedures.
• Documents care in patient records and ensures supplies are stocked.
• Maintains competency through ongoing leadership expectations.
