Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license in the state of practice.
• 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and the health care team.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care by reviewing physician prescriptions and communicating the plan to the health care team.
• Develops nursing care plans by assessing histories, conditions, and social factors.
• Educates patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care.
• Evaluates care against standards, documents changes, and adjusts plans as needed.
• Maintains safe care environment by following infection control and medication procedures.
• Documents patient care in appropriate records.
• Keeps equipment and supplies ready through stock checks and preventive maintenance.
• Keeps competencies up to date as directed by leadership.
