Job summary

IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is seeking a Laboratory Technician for a rotating night shift at its Bloomsburg, PA facility. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and offers duties including media preparation, sample testing under supervision, data entry, and inventory control.

Ideal candidates will have strong written and verbal communication, thorough attention to detail, and a good understanding of aseptic technique in the lab.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; an associate degree is preferred.
• Proficiency with data entry and computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Media and sample preparation, including labeling and organization.
• Sample sorting and log-in into the laboratory system.
• Perform specific sample testing steps under supervision.
• Transcribe results and enter data into the system.
• Maintain inventory and control supplies.
• Wash glassware and assist with general laboratory cleaning.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
