Job summary

Certified Group seeks a Laboratory Technician to perform analytical and microbiological testing of foods, ingredients, and environmental samples. You will apply approved microbiological methods and communicate deviations to Laboratory Management.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a life science, 2+ years in a food-testing lab, and familiarity with aseptic techniques, GLP, and ISO/FDA procedures. Significant shift hours and travel may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or related field required.
• 2+ years in a commercial food-testing or analytical lab.
• Experience with aseptic sampling and lab equipment.
• Familiarity with GLP, OSHA, FDA, BAM, ISO, USP methods.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analytical and microbiological testing of foods and ingredients.
• Prepare samples for indicator organisms, pathogens, and chemistries.
• Apply aseptic/microbiological techniques in daily work.
• Report inventory and supplies needed for testing.
• Support quality duties, temperatures, controls, and safety.
