Job summary

Merit Medical invites applications for an assembly worker to join our day shift. You will rotate through an assembly line, perform on-line inspections, and support change-overs while upholding strict quality standards in a sterile environment.

Ideal candidates read, write and speak English or Spanish, are detail-oriented, and work well in a team. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred; overtime may be required to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English or Spanish or meet local language requirement.
• Ability to rotate in a specific assembly line or work cell.
• Dexterity and fine motor skills required.
• Able to visually check work and identify correct assembly.
• Able to follow instructions in performing repetitive tasks.
• Team player in assembling sterile medical products.

Responsibilities

• Assembles medical products on an assembly operation with rotating tasks.
• Inspects products on-line and in-process per work orders and procedures.
• Assists with product and machine change-overs.
• Ensures products meet quality standards and rejects those outside specifications.
• Adheres to safety standards and may operate testing equipment for periodic testing.
• Overtime may be required and performs other related tasks as needed.
