Job summary

Merit Medical in Pearland, TX is seeking a detail-oriented assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will perform varied assembly tasks, rotate through work cells, and visually inspect products to ensure quality per work orders and procedures.

Responsibilities include assisting with line change-overs, meeting line rate expectations, and adhering to safety standards. Overtime may be required; Spanish language skills may be beneficial depending on the line.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English (or Spanish as local language)
• Demonstrates ability to rotate on an assembly line
• Dexterity and fine motor skills required
• Ability to visually inspect assembled products for quality
• Ability to follow instructions and perform repetitive tasks
• Team-based work on sterile medical product assembly

Responsibilities

• Assemble medical products on an assembly line with rotating tasks
• Rotate through assembly line/work cell as needed
• Perform on-line and in-process visual inspections for specifications
• Assist with product and machine change-overs
• Ensure assembled products meet quality standards and reject non-conforming items
• Adhere to safety standards and operate testing equipment as required
• Possibly work overtime and other related tasks
