Targa Resources in Mont Belvieu, TX is seeking a Rotating Equipment Technician to ensure safe installation, maintenance and proper function of rotating equipment at the Mont Belvieu Complex. You will maintain pumps, turbines, compressors, seals and lubrication systems, assist with lockout/tagout, complete work orders in MAXIMO, and work with a team in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to interface with craftsmen, personnel and vendors; work in a self-directed group.
• Able to work overtime, weekends, holidays and respond to callouts.
• Follow PPE guidelines and safety rules.
• Learn to use hydraulic torque wrenches, laser alignment, dial indicators, micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain pumps, steam turbines, reciprocating and centrifugal compressors, and all rotating equipment.
• Maintain company vehicles and assist Operations in lockout/tagout; verify safe conditions.
• Maintain mechanical seals, lubrication systems and governors.
• Complete work orders within the CMMS MAXIMO system.
• Perform structured preventive and corrective maintenance as per plans.
• Other duties as assigned.
