Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of mechanical or related experience.
• Mechanical aptitude; multi-craft experience a plus.
• Proficient with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators).
• Strong communication skills.
• Valid driver's license; able to pass drug test and background check.
• Physical ability to sit, stand, and bend for extended periods.
• Coachable and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties under the direction of Shop Manager to align the team with daily goals.
• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and lead root cause analyses.
• Interpret technical drawings, OEM manuals, and repair specifications.
• Document repair findings, measurements, tolerances, and parts used.
• Represent OTC professionally and build customer relationships.
• Follow safety protocols and participate in ongoing training.
• Handle emergency service calls and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
