OTC Industrial Technologies in Wisconsin is seeking a Rotating Equipment Technician. This role involves installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial machinery, with hourly pay $25-40 depending on experience.

You will work with seasoned engineers and technicians on equipment installations and repairs. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in industrial maintenance, familiarity with precision measuring tools, read blueprints, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; technical or trade training preferred.
2–4 years in industrial, mechanical maintenance or field service.
Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills and hands-on maintenance experience.
Familiarity with precision measuring tools and mechanical assembly.
Ability to read basic mechanical drawings and schematics.
Experience using hand and power tools in an industrial setting.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to work independently on routine tasks and in a team for complex work.
Physical ability to lift equipment and stand for extended periods.
Exposure to rotating equipment preferred.
Valid driver''s license and willingness to travel for field service.

Responsibilities

Assist with installation, alignment, dismantling, and movement of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance on rotating and fixed equipment.
Inspect components for wear, damage, and alignment issues, escalating concerns as needed.
Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and support repairs or component replacements.
Use hand and power tools to complete maintenance and installation tasks.
Work alongside experienced technicians, engineers, and electricians on equipment installations and repairs.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent using CMMS or job tracking systems.
Demonstrate the ability to complete routine tasks with minimal supervision.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with safety regulations.
Participate in ongoing training to expand technical skills.
