Job summary

Phillips 66 in Odessa, TX is seeking a Rotating Equipment Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on pipeline pump stations, motors, and related equipment, ensuring compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations.

You will lead preventive maintenance, monitor vibration, seal changes, pump tear-downs, and document activities while supporting safety and budget needs, with travel about 25%.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license.
• Must live/relocate within 1 hour of reporting location.
• Travel at least 25% of the time.
• 2+ years of experience changing mechanical seals and general pump knowledge.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs up to 40 feet.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work outside in harsh weather conditions.
• On-call 24 hours a day and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on pumps and motors and related equipment.
• Conduct oil changes, oil analysis, and vibration monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, DOT, and OSHA regulations.
• Identify maintenance work and initiate work requests.
• Drive a company vehicle within the assigned area.
• Provide technical support for installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Complete pump tear-downs and new pump installations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain readiness.
