Responsibilities
  • Develop strategic plans and forecasts for accounts
  • Communicate effectively internally and externally, resolving customer issues proactively
  • Develop and grow sales in the Houston area and surrounding counties
  • Maintain and expand existing accounts and acquire new ones
  • Stay updated on trends in Rotating Equipment
  • Identify new sales and service opportunities within the territory
  • Provide solutions to customer problems using our products
  • Align solutions with customer supply chain objectives
  • Build relationships with decision makers
  • Exceed sales goals and provide cost savings reports
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of outside sales experience in Rotating Equipment, or a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Distribution, Engineering, or a mechanical background
  • Customer-service oriented
  • Proficient in computer skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in proposals and solutions generation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with minimal supervision
  • Proven ability to maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Valid driver's license as per company policy
Additional Information

Physical demands: N/A

Working conditions: Driving to customer locations

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Travel: Within Houston territory
