Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies in the United States is seeking a Rotating Equipment Repair Estimator. The role focuses on reviewing teardown findings, defining repair scopes, and developing complete repair estimates for parts, labor, and outside services.

You will interact with Shop and Regional Managers to ensure accurate, timely quotations and strong customer communication. Over time, you will train on As Found Reports and grow toward independent preparation, using manuals, diagrams, and ERP

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in rotating equipment repair, estimating, or repair shop management.
• Technical or engineering degree preferred, but equivalent rotating equipment repair experience accepted.
• Working knowledge of industrial pumps and rotating equipment; familiarity with repair procedures.
• Strong written communication and math skills; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Review teardown writeups, inspection findings, and photos for pumps and rotating equipment.
• Clarify inspection findings with Shop Manager and Regional Service Manager to define scope.
• Identify replacement parts and obtain supplier quotes, pricing, and lead times.
• Verify estimated labor hours for disassembly, repair, machining, and testing.
• Prepare clear As Found Reports describing condition and required work.
• Develop As Found Reports with guidance during training toward independence.
• Use manuals, drawings, and diagrams to support reports and estimates.
• Develop complete repair estimates including parts, labor, and outside services.
• Enter quoted details into ERP; generate quotations for customers.
• Maintain quote records and ensure timely estimation deadlines.
