Job summary

CF Industries Inc. is seeking an engineer to oversee vibration, oil analysis, and thermography based condition monitoring for rotating equipment at the Donaldsonville complex.

You will develop QA/QC programs, establish criticality matrices, and lead investigations into equipment failures while coordinating with millwrights and management. The role requires a mechanical engineering background and 3+ years in plant maintenance, with strong communication skills and proficiency in CMMS and SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, preferably in mechanical engineering, with a minimum of 3 years’ industry-related experience.
• Strong condition monitoring knowledge in vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography and ultrasonics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee equipment condition monitoring using vibration, oil analysis, process data, temperature and ultrasonics.
• Develop and maintain QA/QC program for rotating equipment work.
• Establish a Criticality Matrix for rotating equipment to guide QA/QC.
• Perform investigations and provide corrective recommendations.
• Review work execution by millwright personnel and suggest improvements.
• Maintain the System 1 data acquisition system.
