Job summary

CF Industries is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the operational integrity of plant equipment through maintenance, repairs, and replacements onsite. You will follow safety rules, report to the Maintenance Supervisor, and work with the Rotating Equipment/Millwright team.

Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, diagnosing issues, aligning shafts, and procuring parts per manuals while maintaining safety and a clean work environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; post-secondary technical education is advantageous.
• 2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or Mechanic with rotating equipment.
• Willingness to work overtime and respond to emergency callouts.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment using various tools.
• Follow precise specifications in maintaining and troubleshooting plant machinery (pumps, turbines, compressors).
• Conduct diagnostic and preventive maintenance on mechanical components.
• Align shafts using appropriate measurement tools.
• Interpret repair manuals, procure parts, and follow manufacturer guidelines.
• Complete safe rigging and material handling operations.
• Coordinate with team members and provide training to peers as experience is gained.
