Job summary

PBF Energy is seeking a Rotating Equipment Engineer to provide mechanical engineering support and reliability improvements to the refinery. You will guide maintenance strategies for rotating equipment, develop PM and PdM programs, and optimize machinery reliability and life-cycle costs.

The role requires leadership in machinery reliability, collaboration across departments, and involvement in 24/7 facility support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Experience in refinery or rotating equipment is preferred.
• Willingness to lead maintenance and turnaround work.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with vibration analysis and PM/PdM programs is preferred.
• Ability to work 24/7 on-call as needed.
• Physical ability to access industrial equipment and PPE use.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for rotating equipment and reliability direction.
• Develop and audit preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Monitor reliability actions and lead root cause analysis.
• Support equipment life cycle cost optimization.
• Provide recommendations for turnaround work and capital projects.
