Job summary
Quest Global in Houston, TX is seeking engineers to join our rotating equipment design team. You will develop mechanical designs for rotating packages, create baseplates and BOMs, and perform static/dynamic load calculations.
The role requires 2–5 years in detail design, an Associate degree, experience with Teamcenter/COMOS/JIRA, and familiarity with SAP or MRP systems. On-site role with travel.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years focusing on detail design and an Associate level degree.
- Experience with turbo compressor design and control systems.
- Proficiency with Teamcenter, COMOS and JIRA; SAP/MRP experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed mechanical design of rotating equipment packages and baseplates.
- Create piping models, spool drawings, and lifting arrangements.
- Conduct static and dynamic loading calculations at foundations.
- Manage 3D models to avoid clashes and prepare BOMs for fabrication.
- Lead design reviews and support bid management and client-facing activities.
- Support project leads and production teams during execution.
