Job summary

Quest Global in Charlotte, NC is hiring a mechanical engineering professional to lead product definition for industrial generators. You will develop 2D/3D CAD models using NX, Creo, and ACAD, manage documentation releases, and maintain Bills of Materials in SAP, ensuring proper configuration and traceability.

You will collaborate with design, manufacturing, logistics, and field teams across sites to support manufacturability, serviceability, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• BSME or BSMET preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 3 years of related product definition/engineering work experience.
• Expertise with 3D CAD programs and engineering documents.
• Strong collaboration across Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Suppliers.
• Knowledge of generator products, SAP, Teamcenter, NX, and CREO preferred.
• Knowledgeable about generator product line.
• Experience in Power Industry.
• Mendix application development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain product definitions for industrial generators.
• Create and maintain 2D/3D CAD models and drawings.
• Manage engineering documentation releases and change requests.
• Maintain Bills of Materials in SAP.
• Support design reviews for manufacturability and serviceability.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for documentation and shipping.
• Ensure revision traceability and compliance with quality standards.
• Prepare as-built drawings and transportation design for large rotating equipment.
