Ebara Elliott Energy is offering a Mechanical, Instrument & Control Engineering Intern role at its Jeannette, PA headquarters. The twelve-week internship provides hands-on exposure to rotating equipment engineering and involves working with cross-functional teams to implement standard workflows.

Ideal candidates are engineering majors (mechanical preferred) who are sophomores or higher and are authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Qualifications

• Students will gain hands-on experience in Mechanical, Instrument & Control Engineering within rotating equipment.
• Exposure to day-to-day responsibilities including participation in meetings and job shadowing.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; we do not sponsor visas at this time.

Responsibilities

• Assist with integrating fluid system calculation tools into core technical workflows to standardize engineering practices globally.
• Draft and update engineering guidelines, standard work instructions, and operating manuals to capture new technical standards.
• Evaluate ongoing operational insights and lessons learned to update, refine, and improve standard work processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams on global integration initiatives to enhance system modeling and analytical accuracy.
• Preferred candidate: major in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) completing a minimum of sophomore year of a Bachelor's degree.
