Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience with rotating equipment.
• Experience with alignment techniques, balancing, and condition monitoring.
• Experience in industrial pump repair and fabrication shop is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with CAD and engineering software.
• Knowledge of hydraulic testing setups and pump performance curves.
• Hands-on with centrifugal and positive displacement pumps.
• Proficiency in mechanical design fundamentals, tolerancing, and fits.
• Strong knowledge of API, ANSI, ASME codes and standards.
• Strong analytical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for reports.
• Ability to manage multiple projects; high attention to detail and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for inspection, disassembly, analysis, repair and reassembly of pumps.
• Conduct RCFA and generate detailed reports.
• Develop and review scopes of work, repair procedures, and QC docs.
• Support pump testing and ensure compliance with standards (API 610, ANSI, ISO).
• Assist in reverse engineering and upgrades for legacy equipment.
• Interpret drawings, OEM manuals, and schematics for pump systems.
• Liaise with customers for assessments, quotes, and updates.
• Ensure adherence to HSE in shop operations.
• Support procurement with specs and vendor evaluations for parts.
