Job summary

Atlas Copco North America LLC seeks a Rotating Equipment Engineer to act as a key technical expert, evaluating repair challenges and delivering engineering solutions for service center operations. You will provide independent judgment to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective rotating equipment performance across oil & gas, chemical, and industrial gas applications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering or related technical discipline.
At least 3 years of experience in an engineering role supporting rotating equipment.
Proficiency with 3D CAD software and engineering documentation systems.

Responsibilities

Engineering Design & Technical Support: Perform engineering calculations and tolerance analyses to validate repair and redesign efforts.
Repair & Aftermarket Engineering: Provide real-time engineering support during inspection, assembly, and testing phases.
Quality, Safety, & Compliance: Ensure all repair and design work meets Atlas Copco quality standards, customer specifications, and applicable codes.
Project Execution & Collaboration: Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and service teams to ensure smooth execution of repair activities.
Cross-Functional & Field Support: Collaborate with Atlas Copco product companies within our division to exchange technical information and align field practices with original specifications.
