Job summary

Predicore Technology Inc. in The Woodlands, TX near Houston is seeking a technically oriented, customer-facing engineer to conduct plant surveys, build quotes, and deliver customized proposals.

You will work closely with the CEO on the technical side and maintain HubSpot records. You should have 2+ years in a similar role, a degree in mechanical/electrical/industrial engineering, and experience with rotating equipment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years in a customer-facing technical role in industry.
• Working knowledge of rotating equipment and plant systems; degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
• Experience building quotes or proposals tailored to a customer.
• Daily use of a CRM or ERP to track quotes, orders, or cases.
• Clear, fluent spoken and written English; valid driver's license and ability to visit plants across the country.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical surveys at industrial plants: asset inventory, criticality, mounting points, access, photos, and installation conditions.
• Turn surveys into quotes and customized proposals: equipment lists, sensor counts, scope, pricing, and the write-up.
• Support the CEO in customer meetings with a standardized technical walkthrough of the solution.
• Follow up with leads and existing customers by email and phone; persistence with non-responders is required.
• Answer replies to our technical outbound campaigns.
• Keep HubSpot accurate: every contact, next step, and document, every day.
