Job summary

South Carolina Army National Guard is seeking an Aircraft Propeller Mechanic to perform assembly, disassembly, and modification of propeller assemblies for rotary-wing aircraft in accordance with technical specifications.

Candidates will use hand and power tools, diagnose maintenance needs from work orders, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Area of Consideration includes Areas 1 and 2; security clearance and suitability requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling and disassembling aircraft propeller assemblies and accessories.
• Experience maintaining propulsion systems for rotary-wing aircraft.
• Ability to determine maintenance needs from work orders and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble aircraft propeller assemblies and components per technical specs.
• Perform maintenance overhaul, inspection, testing, and repair of propellers for rotary-wing aircraft.
• Use hand and power tools to complete required modifications and adjustments.
