Job summary

Arepet Industries in Von Ormy, Texas is seeking a dependable Rotary Dryer Operator/Foreman to oversee the safe, efficient operation of the rotary dryer system at our MSHA-regulated frac sand processing facility.

This role combines hands-on equipment operation with front-line leadership to ensure safe, compliant plant operations and achievement of production goals. The Foreman leads the shift, promotes safety, and trains new employees while maintaining product quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience operating rotary dryers or similar equipment preferred.
• Experience in MSHA-regulated environments strongly preferred.
• Previous leadership or foreman experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read gauges, monitors, and production data.
• Must successfully complete MSHA and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the rotary dryer system to maintain safe, efficient production.
• Monitor feed rates, burner performance, temperatures, airflow, and moisture.
• Adjust parameters to maximize efficiency while maintaining quality.
• Coordinate daily operations with load-out, maintenance, and management.
• Troubleshoot production issues and minimize downtime.
• Maintain production records and report shift performance.
