Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to run the Rotary Die Cutter press on a Monday–Friday 1st shift. You will ensure quality, perform make-readies, and input data accurately in a fast-paced corrugated packaging environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years on printing/converting equipment, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety. Overtime and weekends may be required; compensation is hourly based on experience.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years operating Flexo Folder Gluers or similar equipment in corrugated/packaging or printing environments.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards and safety practices.
• Ability to read work orders, safety instructions, and machine manuals.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
• Verify tooling readiness and perform make-ready tasks.
• Enter production data and conduct quality checks.
• Assist with feeding/off-bearing tasks and communicate needs clearly.
• Train and support the First Helper and other team members.
• Cross-train on additional machines and switch duties as needed.
• Submit maintenance work orders and follow the production schedule.
