Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a Rotary Die Cutter / Flexo Operator to safely operate corrugated die cutting equipment, including setup, make-ready, and quality inspections. You will troubleshoot, perform maintenance, and suggest improvements to meet customer demand while maximizing productivity and maintaining safety standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 5 years of die-cutting experience in a corrugated environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience operating die cutting equipment in a corrugated manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Bobst, Baysek, Apstar, Ward, Martin, or similar equipment.
• Previous experience in the corrugation packaging industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work safely at all times, follow Pratt Industries Safety rules and procedures; participate in Plant Safety Committee.
• Follow GMPs (Good Manufacturing Processes).
• Ensure quality procedures are followed and catch quality issues before leaving the facility.
• Maximize equipment utilization and improve set up times and downtime.
• Maintain clean work areas and housekeeping to prevent hazards.
• Help train and assist junior operators and cross-train on other machines.
• Complete reports accurately (Production Data, Machine Status, Safety, Quality).
• Report maintenance needs and assist with repairs and upkeep.
