Job summary

IntelliPro is seeking an on-site ROS2 Robotics Software Engineer in Sunnyvale, CA to own the software integration between the robot end effector and the host compute platform. You will build and maintain ROS2 nodes, GPU-accelerated image processing, and data pipelines to support manipulation policy training and evaluation.

You will collaborate with scientists and researchers to translate concepts into reliable software running on real hardware, focusing on latency, testing, and reproducibility

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience in C++ and/or Python.
• Hands-on ROS2 experience with nodes, topics, services and launches.
• Experience streaming real-time sensor data on robotic or embedded systems; rosbag2 knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own the ROS2 nodes for the sensor module, including camera, depth, and IMU streaming at target rates.
• Develop and optimize a GPU-accelerated image processing pipeline for real-time data.
• Package and integrate the camera vendor SDK into ROS2 packages for maintainable builds.
• Perform end-to-end latency characterization across sensing and compute pipeline.
