Job summary

Jordan’s Furniture in South Portland, ME is hiring a Team Lead to help oversee the Ropes Course at our Portland location. You will motivate and develop a team while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The schedule varies and includes nights, holidays and weekends. The starting pay rate is $19.00 per hour, with great benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team or shift
• Excellent guest service and communication skills
• Ability to manage cash handling and tickets
• Comfort working in a fast-paced entertainment environment
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays
• Age 18 or older

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop your team

Responsibilities we need you to perform...

• Leading, motivating, and developing your team
• Greeting and assisting guests
• Answering questions regarding film content, ratings, and show times
• Selling tickets utilizing ticketing equipment
• Handling cash and credit cards accurately
• Serving food and drinks
• Maintaining cleanliness of concession stand and theater
• Assisting with coordinating the schedules and activities of Guest Service Representatives
• Providing courteous service/assistance to store and theatre visitors

Here’s what skills we need you to bring...

• Be able to lead and mentor a team and be a role model
• Ability to apply a high level of courtesy and professionalism to all guests in person and over the phone
• 6 months - 1 year of related experience preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to speak in front of a large audience
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be 18 years or older
