Job summary

Custom Truck One Source, Inc. is seeking a Rope Inspector to perform inspections on pulling and stringing equipment, including braided nylon rope and steel wire rope. The role emphasizes accurate inspection reports and compliance with OEM specifications.

You will spend time both inspecting and performing rope splicing, with daily shifts 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, and OT available. Indoor/outdoor work and strong attention to safety are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in vocational truck industry or related field.
• At least 1–2 years of quality inspection experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect nylon and steel wire rope and document detailed inspection reports.
• Audit quality control procedures to ensure compliance with standards.
• Maintain and update procedures and documents with revision control.
• Collaborate with S&P team to meet customer expectations.
• Perform rope splice repairs and eye weaving per OEM specs.
• Conduct scope rope inspections to verify drawings and orders.
• Inspect incoming rope for units and stock.
• Maintain inspection equipment and ensure proper operation.
• Adhere to safety regulations and keep work area clean.
