Job summary

TEAM Industrial Services is seeking qualified Rope Access Inspectors to support field operations with NDE and API inspections in elevated or confined spaces. The ideal candidate is SPRAT or IRATA certified and thrives on technical precision and safety. Travel to client sites and collaboration with site leads are required.

Qualifications

• SPRAT or IRATA Certification required.
• 1–3 years of inspection experience in refining, petrochemical, or energy environments.
• Physically capable of rope access duties and able to travel regionally or nationally.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background checks, TWIC, and site onboarding.
• Strong safety mindset and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections at height using rope access per SPRAT/IRATA standards.
• Conduct NDT and/or API inspections on vessels, piping, tanks, or structural components.
• Assist with installation of access systems and job rig-ups at client sites.
• Document findings using digital tools, forms, and standardized reporting.
• Interface with engineers, planners, and client reps to clarify scope and report results.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, codes, and safety protocols (OSHA, site rules).
• Participate in toolbox talks, pre-job planning, and safety audits.
• Maintain rope access and inspection gear in safe working order and track certifications.
• Assist in equipment transfers, mobilizations, and site setup/teardown.
