Job summary

Apave America Inc. is urgently seeking Technicians with Rope Access Level 1, 2, or 3 for full-time resident positions in the Chalmette, LA area. You will perform rope access inspections, maintenance and related tasks under supervision, with travel to varied client sites.

Demonstrated ability to work at heights, rigorous safety practices, and the ability to follow instructions are essential. SPRAT/IRATA certification required; driver’s license and pre-access drug testing are necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• SPRAT or IRATA Level 1, 2, or 3 Certification required.
• SNT Level II certifications in MT, PT, UTT considered an asset.
• Valid Driver's License and pre-access drug & alcohol testing required.
• Pre-employment background checks will be required.
• Must have the capacity for work at various heights.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and health standards on site and follow regulations.
• Perform rope access operations under supervision.
• Utilize PPE and follow supervisor directions.
• Ensure safe work practices and follow JHA where applicable.
• Assist with other crafts when not actively working on projects.
• Travel to multiple sites and adapt to varying shifts and locations.
