Job summary

Apave America Inc. is seeking Rope Access Technicians to support non-routine inspection, maintenance and other industrial tasks in Gonzales, LA and Greater New Orleans. Roles include entry-level to seasoned technicians with optional certifications.

Travel and variable shifts are possible; strong safety discipline is required. Qualified candidates should have SPRAT/IRATA L1-L3; SNT II is a plus. CDL and pre-access testing may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• SPRAT or IRATA Level 1-3 certification required.
• SNT Level II certifications in MT/PT/UTT considered an asset.
• Valid driver's license and pre-access drug/alcohol testing required.
• Pre-employment background checks will be required.
• Must have capacity for work at various heights.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to safety standards.
• Performs all duties as assigned.
• Uses proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Follows supervisor directions.
• Displays respect for heights and follows OSHA, site procedures.
• Understands permits and participates in JHA.
• Maintains rope access proficiency and assists in rescues.
• Works with other crafts as needed.
