Triton Environmental Consultants, Ltd. is seeking an entry-level Rope Access Technician (Level I) to perform work-at-height tasks under supervision from Level III and II personnel.

The role emphasizes safe execution, learning systems, and task support in demanding field conditions. Responsibilities include following established rigging and access procedures, assisting with inspections, coatings, insulation, pipe fitting, and mechanical tasks, while maintaining safety and teamwork on site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• SPRAT/IRATA Level I certification required or Level II/III acceptable.
• API 653/570/510 certification is a plus.
• NDT certifications (UT/MT/PT/RT/DR) a plus.
• Experience/cert in coatings, insulation, pipe fitting, welding, mechanical fields.
• Confined space certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform work while suspended using two-rope systems.
• Follow established rigging and access systems (does not design them).
• Carry out tasks such as cleaning, coating prep, basic installation or removal work.
• Assisting inspections.
• Maintain tool tethering and dropped-object controls.
• Participate in rescues as directed.
• Follow JSAs, permits, and site safety rules.
