Job summary

Acuren Inspection, Inc. is seeking a hard-working Painter to work on a project basis and start as soon as possible. The Technician will perform painting and blasting tasks, with a focus on safety and timely execution at industrial sites.

The role requires experience with coating materials, application techniques, and curing processes, plus ability to read blueprints and operate painting equipment. Willingness to travel and adapt to demanding conditions is expected.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of coating materials, application techniques, and curing processes.
• Experience with paint and industrial equipment.
• Experience using a wet paint gun, hand and power tools, and other painting equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings.
• Ability to read and use coating thickness gauges, surface profile gauges, dew point meters, soluble salt testers, and hardness or ultrasonic thickness gauges.
• Previous pipeline experience preferred.
• NCCER Painter certification a plus.
• NACE certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Have a comprehensive knowledge Painting/Blasting.
• Assist other technicians as required.
• Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders.
• Ensure operational safety of all equipment.
• Other work duties as assigned.
