Job summary

Acuren is seeking qualified Rope Access & NDT Technicians to join our team in the La Porte/Houston, TX area. This role focuses on setting up and calibrating nondestructive testing equipment and performing inspections with rope access methods.

Candidates should hold Rope Access Level I or II and RT State Carded Trainer status, with UT/MT/PT PMI certifications being a plus. This position demands safety-conscious, meticulous reporting of results and may involve guiding others.

Qualifications

• Rope Access Level I or II cert required.
• RT State Carded Trainer status preferred.
• Certifications UT/MT/PT & PMI are a plus.
• Experience with NDT equipment and testing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Establish proper examination techniques with safety adherence.
• Interpret radiographs and readouts; organize and report results.
• Perform specialized inspections and supervise others when needed.
