Job summary

ACUREN in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking Rope Access Mechanical Technicians to support operations. Preference given to candidates with an NDT or mechanical trades background and IRATA/SPRAT Level I certification.

Technicians will manage crew safety for rope access work, organize tasks, and supervise activities in heights, ensuring compliance with IRATA standards and safe performance of industrial services.

Qualifications

• IRATA or SPRAT Level I certification with proficiency in theoretical knowledge, equipment and rigging, maneuvers, climbing and rescue/hauling.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Must have industrial refinery experience and mechanical industrial experience.
• Must have certification levels for specific projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders.
• Be conversant with relevant work techniques.
• Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of a level 1 Rope Access Technician.
• Assist Other Technicians As Required.
• Ensure operational safety of all equipment.
