Job summary

Acuren is seeking Full Time Rope Access Technicians with NDT expertise to support operations in Corpus Christi, TX. Preference for candidates with an NDT or mechanical trades background. Responsibilities include supervising rope access activities, performing inspections of equipment, and ensuring safety and compliance with IRATA standards.

Local candidates in Corpus Christi, TX | South, TX are preferred. Relocation support is available for qualified candidates; per diem and travel pay are not

Qualifications

• IRATA/SPRAT certification at any level is required, with proficiency in rigging and rescue practices.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred for technical work.
• Certified NDT (any level) with knowledge of NDT methods and inspection interpretation.
• Technical background in NDT and ability to perform assigned tasks and report results.
• Based in Corpus Christi, TX with valid TWIC or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Perform rope access duties under supervision of Level II/III technicians.
• Inspect and validate rope access equipment and systems for safety and compliance.
• Assist in setting up rope access equipment as directed by Lead RAT.
• Identify hazards and report unsafe conditions promptly to supervisors.
• Record inspection results as directed by Lead RAT.
• Safely ascend, descend, and maneuver on ropes using standard techniques.
• Assist in basic rescue operations under supervision.
• Maintain certifications and training records per IRATA or SPRAT requirements.
