Job summary

Acuren Inspection is seeking Rope Access Technicians to support operations in New Orleans and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Preference for candidates with an NDT or mechanical trades background, and with IRATA or SPRAT certification to ensure safe rope-access work at height.

You will be responsible for safety management of crews, organizing rope-access tasks, and supervising industrial services at heights in refinery, petrochemical and power-generation environments, with strong emphasis on safety and

Qualifications

• Current SPRAT and/or IRATA Level I, II, or III Certification
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
• Industrial experience preferred
• Ability to work safely in refinery, petrochemical, power generation, and industrial environments
• NCCER Certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders
• Be conversant with relevant work techniques
• Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of a level 1 Rope Access Technician
• Assist other technicians as required
• Ensure operational safety of all equipment
