Job summary

Acuren is seeking a temporary Rope Access/API 510 Inspector for a 4‑week project in Texas City, TX. The worker will perform visual and NDE inspections on pressure-retaining equipment and document findings for client reports.

Requirements include API 510, Rope Access, 5–10 years or 2+ years on site, and knowledge of API 510/570 and ASME standards. Travel readiness and safety compliance are expected.

Qualifications

• Must hold API 510 certification.
• Rope Access certification at any level.
• 5–10 years of experience or 2+ years on site experience.
• API 653 or CWI is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of API 510/570 and ASME standards.
• Experience supporting petrochemical facility engineers.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and non-destructive examination of pressure‑retaining equipment per API and ASME.
• Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition.
• Provide technical recommendations for repair, re‑rate, replacement or alteration.
• Provide input on welding and metallurgical issues.
• Advise on NDE techniques and procedures.
• Comply with safe work practices and participate in safety initiatives.
• Travel willingness if needed.
