Hotel Millwright in Amana, IA seeks a Room Supervisor to lead housekeeping operations and ensure guest rooms and public areas meet high standards. You will work with the housekeeping supervisor to assign tasks, inspect rooms, and support daily cleaning operations.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and flexibility to cover weekends and holidays, with hands-on duties as needed to maintain service excellence.

Qualifications

• Leadership and team management experience in hospitality
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
• Experience in housekeeping or room management preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations to meet quality standards
• Coordinate with the housekeeping supervisor to assign tasks and monitor staff
• Inspect guest rooms and facilities for cleanliness, safety and maintenance
• Perform hands-on housekeeping duties when needed to maintain standards
• Support training and development of housekeeping staff
• Address guest requests and resolve issues promptly
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Enforce health and safety regulations and hotel policies
• Collaborate with Front Desk and Chief of Maintenance to ensure readiness
