Job summary

Muckleshoot Casino Resort is seeking a skilled Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily cleaning operations and ensure top-tier guest room quality. The role emphasizes guest service, training of staff, and collaboration with multiple departments to maintain hotel standards.

The candidate will supervise housekeeping tasks, inspect rooms, and report on maintenance needs while upholding professionalism and positive guest interactions at all times.

Qualifications

• 2 years of housekeeping experience.
• 1 year in a supervisory role leading a multi-person team; preferably housekeeping.
• 1 year of hospitality or guest services experience.

Responsibilities

• Exemplifies MCR’s values and demonstrates excellent guest service and professionalism.
• Open and close procedures for housekeeping in absence of the Executive Housekeeper.
• Manage daily cleaning of guest rooms and public spaces to meet quality standards and provide optimal service.
• Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms for cleanliness, organization, and maintenance.
• Prepare regular reports for management on cleanliness and room maintenance.
• Verify amenities are stocked in each room and assess quality of items.
• Collaborate with management to respond to guest complaints related to cleanliness or room condition.
• Assist in training new housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques and standards.
• Provide guidance and supervision to ensure consistent quality across all rooms.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, front desk, and other departments for efficient communication.
• Relay important room status, maintenance needs, and guest requests.
• Engage Guests and Team Members with a positive professional demeanor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Manage and inspect daily cleaning of the guest rooms and public spaces to ensure quality standards are met and optimum service is provided to hotel guests.
• Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms to ensure they are properly cleaned, organized, and maintained according to the hotel's standards including but not limited to cleanliness, proper arrangement of furniture, functioning appliances, and amenities.
• Prepare regular reports for management regarding the cleanliness and maintenance of rooms.
• Verify that all amenities, such as towels, linens, toiletries, and other supplies, are adequately stocked in each room.
• Assess the quality and condition of these items to ensure they meet the hotel's standards.
• Partner with management to respond to guest complaints or concerns related to the cleanliness or condition of their rooms.
• Assist in training new housekeeping staff members on cleaning techniques, standards, and procedure their rooms' cleanliness or conditions.
• Provide guidance and supervision to ensure consistent quality across all rooms.
• Collaborate with the housekeeping department, front desk staff, and other relevant departments to ensure efficient communication and coordination.
• Relay important information regarding room status, maintenance needs, and guest requests.
• Smile and engage Guests and Team Members with a positive professional demeanor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• 2 (Two) years prior hotel housekeeping experience including knowledge of cleaning procedures, practices, and handling of chemicals.
• 1 (One) year in a supervisory role of a multi-person team; preferably on a housekeeping team.
• 1 (One) year of experience in hospitality or guest services.
