Job summary

Renaissance Hotels in Schaumburg, IL is seeking an entry level management professional to support day-to-day Rooms Operations, including Housekeeping, Recreation, Laundry, Staff, AYS and Concierge/Guest Services. You will help guests with arrival/departure procedures and uphold cleanliness standards while aiming to satisfy guests and manage operating budgets.

The role involves supervising shifts, reviewing operation reports, and ensuring proper staffing and training to deliver exceptional guest

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 3 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area.
• 2-year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Admin, or related major; 1 year experience in guest services.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes Front Desk shifts and ensures completion of shift checklist.
• Reviews room operations reports and understands department functions.
• Schedules employees to meet business demands and tracks time and attendance.
• Interacts with guests to obtain feedback and resolve issues.
• Assists in managing departmental budget and payroll progress reports.
