A substantial part of the 200-acre Viking Lakes mixed-use development, this destination is home to the Minnesota Vikings headquarters, Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center and TCO Stadium. The location is easily accessible from downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul, the Mall of America and airport, with additional uses for the planned development to include corporate offices, retail, restaurants and entertainment.

Omni Viking Lakes Hotel is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor. This position is responsible for ensuring that the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms, hallways, back of house and landing meets Omni 4 Diamond standards.

Salary for this position starts at (based on experience): $21.50/hour. Essential Job Functions:

• Inspects the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms.
• Inspects the cleanliness of guest hallways.
• Assigns special projects as directed by the Director of Housekeeping.
• Support new Omni Safe and Clean protocols throughout the hotel to support Omni's Covid-19 related sanitation protocols.
• Reports any needed repairs or discrepancies of guest rooms.
• Ensures that all GRAs have appropriate supplies and linens.
• Assists in the cleaning of guest rooms when necessary.
• Assists in processing AM and PM room status reports.
• Ensures that the GRA's linen cart is neat and well organized.
• Ensures that linen closets on guest room floors are completely stocked.
• Maintain all supply storage closets, neat and clean at all times.
• Must have all guest rooms punched in via the phone after completion.
• Ensure all guest room doors be held open with a door stopper when needed.
• Ensure VIP rooms must be inspected before noon.
• Participate and monitor the new hire training process.
• Ensure check-out rooms are a priority.
• Maintain daily knowledge of hotel, facilities and events.
• Participate and monitor the new hire training process.
• Ensure hotel, guest and associates are maintained in a clean, safe and secure environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous Housekeeping experience is preferred, with demonstrated leadership skills.
• Able to work with management on special projects.
• Must work with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate (verbal and written) in English.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk, push, pull, stoop, bend and lift items of moderate weight for an entire shift.

Working Environment:

• Interior of hotel with daily travel around property.
• Exposure to hazardous chemicals.
