Job summary

Omni Viking Lakes Hotel is seeking a Spa Attendant to maintain cleanliness throughout the Spa and provide superior guest service in a relaxing environment. The role supports Omni Safe and Clean protocols and assists with daily operations to ensure a high standard of hospitality.

Salary starts at $15.50/hour with benefits for part‑time associates, including dental, vision, and other healthcare offerings, plus spa and restaurant discounts and opportunities for continued education.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess excellent guest service skills and will be responsible for ensuring a quality guest experience in the Spa.
• Team player with reliable on‑call scheduling abilities.
• Excellent guest service, attention to detail and effective communication are required.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares public spaces for guest arrival, including cleaning, sanitation, stocking/restocking supplies, and replacing linen.
• Greets guests & members, providing information and directions as necessary.
• Maintain locker room in sanitary and safe condition to include shower areas, and vanities.
• Maintain Spa Garden spaces in a fashion that ensures neat, safe, and sanitary conditions.
• Ensure that guests are properly checked in and out of lockers as necessary.

A substantial part of the 200-acre Viking Lakes mixed‑use development, this destination is home to the Minnesota Vikings headquarters, Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center and TCO Stadium. The location is easily accessible from downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul, the Mall of America and airport, with additional uses for the planned development to include corporate offices, retail, restaurants and entertainment.

Salary for this position starts at: $15.50/hour. Omni Viking Lakes Hotel reserves the right to pay more or less than listed compensation scale based on factors not related to sex or race.

Essential Job Functions

• Prepares public spaces for guest arrival, including cleaning, sanitation, stocking/restocking supplies, and replacing linen.
• Supports new Omni Safe and Clean protocols throughout the spa to support Omni's related sanitation protocols.
• Greets guests & members, providing information and directions as necessary.
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
• Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings.
• Report any maintenance problems throughout the spa to the proper authority.
• Must maintain client and spa business confidentiality/privacy at all times.
• Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.
• Instructs guests where they may change and/or dress for Spa treatments and experiences.
• Maintain locker room in sanitary and safe condition to include shower areas, and vanities.
• Maintain all guest lounge and deck areas in neat and sanitary condition.
• Maintain Spa Garden spaces in a fashion that ensures neat, safe, and sanitary conditions.
• Ensure that guests are properly checked in and out of lockers as necessary.
• Participates in periodic product inventory as directed.
• Conducts tours of the spa and related facilities.
• Complete other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to bend, reach and lift to 50 lbs. and push up to 75 lbs.

Working Environment

• Interior and exterior of Spa.
• Occasional exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions.
• Exposure to various hazardous chemicals.
