Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Rooms Director to oversee Front Office, Housekeeping, Laundry, and related guest services. You will collaborate with the General Manager and AGM on strategic projects, manage performance across Rooms Division, and drive exceptional guest experiences.

You will lead and develop department managers, ensure safety and standards, and contribute to the executive team with a commitment to our “Lead with Love” promise.

Competenze

• 5 years of progressive hotel/resort experience in full-service properties over 500 rooms.
• Extensive Rooms Division experience in Housekeeping and Front Desk.
• Leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
• Broad understanding of the tourism industry and resort operations.

Rooms Director

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Rooms Director. In this role, you’ll oversee the operation of the Front Office (Valet, Bell Staff, Concierge, Front Desk, Emerald Lounge), Housekeeping and Laundry. You will work closely with the General Manager and AGM on special projects and assignments. You’ll also be responsible for the management, evaluation, and performance of all Rooms Division functions, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Common Area, Laundry, Concierge, PBX, and Bell Staff/Shuttle/Valet Service.

As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences ...and most importantly, you need to be able to bring your energy to your team! Assist in making their day as enjoyable as you do for our guests! This position will be on the Executive Committee.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee front office, housekeeping, laundry, and guest services to ensure high-quality service and guest satisfaction.
• The Director of Rooms is responsible for maximizing guest service scores and opportunities within the Division.
• Hire, train, and lead department managers and team members while maintaining standards, safety, and compliance.
• Control budgets, optimize occupancy and revenue metrics, oversee property systems, and maintain readiness for operational disruptions.

What We’re Looking For

• 5 years of progressive hotel/resort experience in full-service properties over 500 rooms.
• Extensive Rooms Division experience in Housekeeping and Front Desk.
• Have a broad understanding of the tourism industry and the day-to-day functions of all aspects of a resort.
• A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
