Job summary

The Westin Atlanta Perimeter North is seeking a Room Service Attendant to deliver food and beverages to hotel guests in their rooms while upholding our service standards.

This role requires evening shifts, strong guest communication, and the ability to carry trays and move supplies as needed. Hotel experience is preferred. You will be part of HEI Hotels and Resorts, offering comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Hotel or hospitality experience is preferred.
• Excellent guest communication and service orientation.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and transport large trays up to 30 lbs.
• Flexible to work evenings and adapt to a hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and deliver all food and beverage orders to guest rooms.
• Ensure sanitation and safety guidelines during service.
• Retrieve trays and clear rooms between deliveries.
• Provide VIP amenities and special guest requests per policy.
• Respond to guest needs and communicate issues to supervisors.
• Handle cash and room charges according to company policies.

Overview

Deliver food and beverages to hotel guests in their rooms while providing exceptional customer service.

Must be available to work evening shifts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up and deliver all food and beverage orders in accordance with established guidelines, procedures and policies as prescribed by company standards.
• Conduct floor sweeps and retrieve all food and beverage trays in order to maintain established sanitation guidelines.
• Set up and deliver all VIP amenities.
• Complete all shift side work as outlined in the hotel’s operating policies and procedures.
• Respond to customer needs, issues, comments, and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales. Report all communication to immediate shift supervisor.
• Perform all cash handling responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Education and Experience

• Hotel experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to communicate well with guests.
• Ability to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, move or push goods on a cart weighing a maximum of 100 lbs., at a continuous schedule with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 30lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.
