Job summary

The Westin Atlanta Perimeter North, operated by HEI Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a dedicated housekeeping professional to maintain a clean, safe environment for guests. You will perform routine cleaning tasks across guest rooms and public areas, ensuring high standards of appearance and comfort throughout the hotel.

Ideal candidates have hotel experience, strong communication with guests, and the physical stamina to handle lifting and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean sinks, toilets, mirrors, tiles, counters, walls, vents and floors with cleaning agents.
• Dust all furniture, pictures and shelves; extend arms over head as needed.
• Polish metal surfaces with consistent pressure.
• Clean ashtrays and empty trash.
• Deliver items to guest rooms.

Overview

Maintain the building to ensure safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates, and vendors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, tiles, counters, walls, stalls, vents and/or floors with cleaning agents by extending arms over head to reach all above areas. Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.
• Thoroughly dust all furniture, pictures, and shelves, extending arms over head, bending, and stooping as needed.
• Thoroughly clean and polish all metal surfaces, applying pressure in repeated motion.
• Clean ashtrays and empty trash.
• Deliver items to guest rooms

Education and Experience

• Hotel experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Can communicate well with guests.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy equipment, and stand for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to understand and follow directions and perform job functions under limited supervision.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.
