Job summary

Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking a Patient Meal Room Service Associate (PRN) to provide timely, courteous meal service to patients and support the nursing team in Georgia.

You will take patient meal orders, enter selections in the N&FS system, and ensure diet and allergy compliance while maintaining infection prevention standards. Responsibilities include taking orders, delivering meals, and collaborating with care teams on the unit.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of foodservice or customer service experience.
• ServSafe Food Handler and ServSafe Allergen certifications within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide meals to patients in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
• Enter meal selections into N&FS software per diet orders with accuracy.
• Support call center operations for Patient Meal Room Service.
• Verify patient identity using two identifiers and ensure meal accuracy.
• Adhere to infection prevention guidelines and safety protocols.
• Deliver meals to units and assist with trays, dishroom, and supply replenishment.
